The best online coaching software in 2026.
There is no single best tool. The right one depends on how many clients you follow, whether you write diets, and what your clients will accept to install. This page is published by Moveat, which is one of the products compared, so check each price on the source linked next to it.
Prices side by side
The monthly price to follow 15 clients, read on each vendor's own pricing page on the date shown. A diet feature is not always included at this price: each comparison gives the detail.

How to choose in two minutes
Start with what you actually do every week. A coach who reads check-ins and writes diets needs a different tool from a coach who builds training plans and follows lifted weights.
Then look at the price for your real number of clients, not the starting price. Most vendors charge by client, and some add a separate fee for nutrition.
Finally, ask what your client has to do. A tool your clients never open costs you more than a subscription.
Who each tool suits
Moveat suits a coach who follows check-ins, photos and diets. Weight, measurements, photos and the diet sit on one screen, and the client opens a link without installing anything from a store. The coach writes the diet: calories come from a food database or a label, never from a guess.
Everfit suits a coach who wants a large training app and a generous number of free clients. In our last reading, nutrition and check-ins belonged to the paid plans.
Trainerize suits a coach or a studio that wants a known brand and many integrations. Nutrition is sold as a paid add-on.
TrueCoach suits a coach focused on training programs who is ready to pay from the first client. There is no free plan.
Hevy Coach suits a coach whose clients already log their sets in Hevy. It is built around training, not diets.
Hexfit and Azeoo suit coaches who want a French-speaking vendor. On Hexfit, nutrition starts at a higher plan. Azeoo has no free plan.
When Moveat is not the right choice
A comparison published by a vendor is only useful if it says this part clearly.
Choose another tool if
- You want your own branded app in the App Store
- Your clients must log every set and weight inside the app
- You want software to generate the diet or the program for you
- You follow more than 50 clients
Choose Moveat if
- You write the diets yourself and want exact macros
- Your clients should not have to install anything
- You want to see at a glance who has stopped checking in
- You want to start free, with every feature, for two clients
Three common situations
Where coaches usually start, and what changes when the check-in has its own place.
You follow 5 clients
Today
WhatsApp and a spreadsheet still hold, and you lose time looking for last month's numbers.
With Moveat
Two clients are free, enough to test it for real before moving the others.
You follow 15 clients
Today
Checking who went quiet takes an hour, and photos are lost in the conversations.
With Moveat
The clients who slipped appear on opening, and photos sit side by side.
You already use ChatGPT
Today
You paste a client's numbers into a conversation, then copy the answer back.
With Moveat
The connector reads your real clients and leaves a draft in your editor.
Questions coaches actually ask
What is the best free software for a fitness coach?
It depends on what free has to cover. Everfit offers the most free clients, but in our last reading its free plan left out nutrition and check-ins. Moveat is free for two clients with every feature included, diets and check-ins too. Trainerize is free for one client.
Is this comparison neutral?
No. It is published by Moveat, which is one of the products compared. Each price links to the vendor's own page and shows the date we read it, so you can check it. Prices change: trust the vendor's page over ours.
Which software includes nutrition?
Not all of them, and not at the same price. Moveat includes diets on every plan. Trainerize sells nutrition as an add-on. Hexfit includes it from a higher plan. Hevy Coach is built around training. Each comparison page gives the detail.
Do my clients have to install an app?
On Moveat, no: they open a link in their browser and can add it to their home screen. Most other tools rely on an app from a store.
Test it with two real clients.
The only useful test is with your own clients, for a real week of check-ins.
