Moveat and TrueCoach.

TrueCoach is a clean, well built tool that coaches genuinely like. The gap with Moveat is not quality, it is the door: there is no free plan there, and the entry price assumes you already have a paying roster.

Pick TrueCoach if

  • You already have a full roster and the entry price is not a question.
  • You want a demo video library and filmed exercises included.
  • You run strength programming where the client logs every load lifted, session after session.
  • Your clients are used to a mobile app and it has never been a problem.

Pick Moveat if

  • You are starting, or coming back, and you refuse to pay before you have clients.
  • The diet is the centre of what you sell.
  • You want your clients to answer without downloading anything.
  • You want to see who is slipping before they quit, not after.

Their tiers rarely land on round numbers. When a tier covers more clients than the row says, the price shown is the one you actually pay at that headcount.

TrueCoach bills in USD. Moveat bills in euros, or in dollars in the United States.

The differences that actually change your month

01

The door is free here

TrueCoach has no free plan, only a trial that runs out. Moveat is free up to two clients, with no time limit and no card. A coach with two clients pays nothing, for as long as they have two clients.

02

Your client downloads nothing

Moveat opens from a link in the browser and can be pinned to the home screen if the client wants it. No store, no account, no update to explain.

03

The check in is not a daily log

Your client sends weight, measurements, three photos and how they feel, when you ask for it. They do not log every meal and every set every day, which is exactly why they still do it in week six.

04

Quantities written the way people eat

Five dates, one tablespoon of oil, two slices of bread. Grams and ounces stay there for whoever weighs their food, but nobody is forced to own a scale.

What TrueCoach does better

Training logs, exercise by exercise

If your coaching lives on load progression and your client records every set, TrueCoach is built for that and Moveat is not.

A video library and filmed demonstrations

Included there, absent here by design.

Years of polish

They have been at this a long time, with integrations and a support team Moveat cannot match today.

Questions people ask before switching

Does Moveat have a free plan?

Yes. Up to two clients, with every feature, no time limit and no card. Messaging, photos, PDF exports and templates are all included at that level.

Does my client log their meals every day in Moveat?

No. They send a check in when you ask for one, typically every week or two. There is no daily food diary and no daily training log.

Can I export my data if I leave?

The diet exports to PDF, and your data stays yours. Moveat has no lock in mechanism.
